MODERN FLAT

This was an interior design project of a new 2 bedroom apartment. We started the project during the construction phase, namely kitchen, living room and bedrooms. It was a young couple who were looking for practical and functional solutions above all else. We were asked to redesigned the kitchen to meet the couple’s needs and facilitate their daily routine. Since the apartment had no entrance hall, we developed a project idea that would function as an arrival area. Thus, taking advantage of the back of the kitchen counter, we created a seating area and taking off our shoes, storing some belongings and we were still able to combine kitchen and entrance hall. For example, hall handles are made on the same stone as the kitchen countertop, thus creating a link. The apartment had few areas planned for storage so we tried to create several dynamic points in this sense.
